The Practi-Ipratropium Bromide 0.02% Nebules simulates 0.5 mg/2.5 mL of ipratropium bromide 0.02% (Atrovent®), a bronchodilator, in a nebulizer. Practi-Ipratropium comes as a liquid solution that is to be inhaled by the patient’s mouth using a special nebulizer.
This product is thus designed to safely teach this skill using any task trainer or manikin that accepts distilled water. Users/practitioners can also practice dosage calculations to understand the different dosages for adults versus pediatrics.
